Hello,
I just commenced studying and I plan to sit the June 2018 diet. How many hours on the average do i need to study per day from now to cover the syllabus, practice and be ready for the exam by 31 May 2018.
I work an 8 – 5 job

A candidate sitting a P-paper exam for the first time in June would generally be expected to have started on their studies by early March. I think you should be looking at around 75-100 hours of study (i.e. allowing 3-4 hours per chapter/session or topic including an hour of study question practice), 40 hours of revision question practice (i.e. attempting 8 exams’ worth of exam style and standard question practice including review time) and 3.25 hours sitting a mock + at least an hour to review.
The ACCA’s guide “Prepare to pass” has some useful tips and checklists to help you https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/ACCA_Global/Learning%20Providers/self-study/P2-self-study-guide-june-2017.pdf
