Any thoughts on the P6 hydrid Dec/Sep exam that’s been made available?
Seems odd as non of the Dec questions seem to be present?

Yes, I noticed this too. I couldn’t recognise any of the questions. I read somewhere on this forum that they had to upload all of P6 September exam because of the change to FA2015.
Yeah doesn’t make much sense who knows with ACCA sometimes….
Dreading this P6 result, I’ve either done ok or terrible… time pressure to the max.
I didnt felt time pressured mainly coz for Q1 Part A i didnt know what was going on haha so i was just like get a move on and do everything else and did my best at the end for like 30 minutes or so and still had like 20 minutes left but this pressure i agree i will either scrape a pass or its just gone down the drain!!
i hope they re-release it with Q1 from December in, as i really want to see where i went wrong/how to do it properly.
i don’t suppose it will help much, as i can’t see a massive 35mark question about incorporation relief coming up again any time soon….

When do they usually release the examiner’s reports? This would clearly give us an indication of the requirements for Q1.
There’s not much we can do now other than to wait and wait till Monday.
now the answers are available – could someone please try and explain Q1 part a i) to me?
it’s only 3 marks, but it is really bugging me – even looking at the answers i don’t understand what it is trying to show me!
I got so confused when I looked at it too! Thought I had lost my mind completely and December sitting was a definite fail then.
They may not have released any Dec Q’s as they may do the hybrid with the Mar ’17 session as that will be the last exam using the current Financial Act before it changes again from June ’17 session.
Keep students wondering what was tested on in Dec ’16 so they cant question spot for the March exam.xolile this is strange argument, i do not understand the point…
I do find it very frustrating that not even one question came from Dec 16 exam and I cannot analyse the answers.can someone actually confirm that the whole Sep/Dec16 paper is in fact Sep 16 or made up??

As far as I can see, the Sept/Dec hybrid do not feature any questions from Dec 2016. I don’t know if it’s all September questions as I did not attempt September exams but I can confirm there are definitely no December questions in there.
I sent them two private messages last Friday on their Facebook page to bring this to their attention but got no response whatsoever.
Even though I passed the exam earlier this week, it will be good to see the model answer and the examiners comments.Xolile same here. I got 48marks and i am absolutly annoyed i cannot check model andwers. I have sent fb message as well. Lets see if anyone hets back to me.
I have requested dec 16 paper but of course they won’t do it.
Why? Who knows?!
It is like taking to the wall with ACCA.
I am glad is my last exam as the changes they make are not fir students benefits.Regards

I have just got a reply from ACCA apologising and promising to update the hybrid to reflect both September and December questions.Hi xolile,

Possibly more ppl not only two of us complained about it.If i am honest i am so happy that i only have this one exam to pass as the changes they are making are not really student friendly in my opinion.
