    Dear tutor,
    In the lease vs buy question I inadvertently didn’t put the cost figures in brackets but instead put the scrap value figure in brackets indicating that it’ll reduce the overall cost of buying though in the end I did write the decision rule that the buy option should be chosen as it had lower overall cost than leasing. I want to ask that whether I’ll be penalised for this thing or not?

    Not putting brackets does not matter.

    If however you added up wrongly because of that, and got the wrong total, then you will lose one or two marks but no more.
