Which of the following is NOT a responsibility of a non-executive director in a company?
-Making business decisions for a company
-Governance of a company
-Daily management of a company
I think Both the option A and C are correct options. NED is not involved in day to day business and making business decisions. But I have to choose one option. I am so confused between these two. Can you please help……………..
I would suggest that it’s option A
Clearly, making business decisions is not part of the job description.
But what about ‘daily management of the company’?
Although they are not involved inaily decision making, it is one of their responsibilities to oversee the daily management.
I believe that the answer should be option A
OK?
Ok, I got this! Thankyou so much. Can I ask you more queries, I am so confused.
Of course you can – but I shall be driving for much of December 26th.
Ask away – I’ll get back to you as soon as I can
