Good day
I’m trying to calculate Goodwill from the 2014 notes in CH 7 E.g. 5. I’m having probs arriving at the ‘N.C.I Investment Valuation’ value . I have tried all calculations but cant seem to reach the same answer on the solutions provided. I’m not to sure what i’m doing wrong. please help out.
It’s proportionate. Fair valued net assets are $32,000 + $60,000 retained earnings and their shareholding is 25% of Ilona
25% x $92,000 is $23,000
