Quick exam technique question. If a question requires me to explain say five points on a topic and I answer with seven separate points, two of which are completely wrong can I still obtain full marks for the question for the five correct points?

Yes. There is no negative marking so wrong points simply score zero.

However, if you give 7 correct ones whilst asked for only 5 you won’t get extra marks and you will therefore have wasted time.
