if i am calculating the number of contract required should it and i get the answer as 23.7 should i but 23 contract or should i buy 24 contract (which would be more than required )?

It doesn’t matter in the exam. I would go for 24, but again it does not matter (obviously the final answer will be slightly different, but that is completely irrelevant).
