Forums › ACCA Forums › General ACCA Forums › New to Acca bear with me for asking some basic questions
Hi all, I’ve just sat for F1,F2,F3, AND F4 papers and I think I have passed 2 of these only (not sure about this). My question is can I start preparing for F5,F6 now as I’ll have to wait for the results before knowing if I have to resit or not. Basically I want to know if there is any particular order in which the fundamental papers should be tackled. Thanks.

Hi Kop17,
Well, you can find ACCA exam progression rules here :
https://www.accaglobal.com/en/student/qualification-resources/acca-qualification/info-progression.html
And taking this into account , i don’t see a problem in starting your preparation for further papers now.
Biggest point here is that you can sit knowledge level papers F1, F2.,F3 as CBE at any time of the year. That means if u fail any or all of those, you can just resit them before june. And then you can take further papers in June.
At your level, you just need to bear in mind that you have sit skills level papers only if you take all outstanding knowledge level papers at the same time.
Good luck.
