is it vertical or horizontal integration?can u explain a bit? many thanks..It is either when a smaller company takes over a bigger company (which could be either vertical or horizontal) or, more commonly, can refer to the fact when a public company is created simply to take over a private company in order to avoid the time and expense of going public (in which case it is not any sort of integration).
