Hello everyone,
i am studying on revision kit but confuse with question no. 39.8 and question 41.8. There are 2 same question but different answer.
I dont understand why? Anyone can help to explain? Thank youIt would help if you said which book you are using!!!
It seems it is BPP (but they are not the only publisher producing books 🙂 )The two questions are not the same – the numbers are different.
However, the answers do calculate in different ways.You either calculate the gain/loss in units of input and value at the average cost per unit of input; or, you calculate in units of output and value at the enrage cost per unit of output.
Either approach will give the same answer.(The free lectures on mix and yield variances will help you)
