Sir I am planning to appear for P6 and which is my last paper, its since long time that I appeared for F6,I just wanted to know can I start p6 straight away or I should go through F6 lecture first. And are these lecture updated according to Dec 15 sitting.I live in Uk ,so are these lecture according to UK tax.And I know its bit silly to ask but still ,which variant should I go for international or UK. Many thanks

The F6 lectures are based on UK tax and are relevant for the December 2015 exam. I would suggest if you wish to choose tax as an optional paper then do UK tax.
The P6 examiner regularly comments on the need for a solid foundation in F6 but you do not need to spend all your time studying F6, you need to focus on P6 so you will need to acquire study and revision material from one of the approved providers.
In relation to our F6 material I would advise that you read and work through the OT study course notes to get you back into tax but to focus on certain important sections that are very relevant for P6, such as losses and groups within corporation tax, CGT reliefs, IHT, the bases of assessment for unincorporated traders in opening and closing years and the available loss reliefs for individuals as well as the assessment of employment income and the treatment of pension contributions.
    Good luck!
