    Hello everyone
    I would like to know if someone has average of 55
    are they good enough to go for OBU?

    I have seen the class boundary already but I was wondering if I get “lower second class”
    is it worthy and valuable enough in the job sector?

    It may be worth checking your eligibility (see FAQs here https://www.accaglobal.com/hk/en/help/oxford-brookes.html)

    Unless you are already opted in, you cannot opt in after you have passed any of the exams.

    I am opted in already from the very first of my ACCA exam

    I am just confused whether to go for Msc in professional accountancy or OBU?

    what would be the best option for a student who is also determined to complete ACCA as well.

    There is no reason why you should not go for the OBU BSc Applied Accounting. It would be far better to do that than attempt to get on a Masters course without any experience of producing academic work (though you could go for an MSc afterwards if you wanted to).

    Having the experience of structuring work and referencing are two such skills that possibly you might struggle with (particularly referencing) so being confident and competent on several levels by doing the BSc would help you settle better when doing Masters work

    @trephena
    Hello. I have a few issues regarding Part 2 of the RAP for Topic 8
    could you give me a example of what I should write in these.

    1. Under the sub section “methods used to collect information & data”,
    Since I have mainly used secondary sources, Im not sure what to say here exactly.

    2. “Ethical issues encountered and how they were resolved” – I really didnt come across any ethical issues while doing the topic 8.

    Thanks.

    You need to consider the validity and reliability of the data you are using and whether there is potential bias. Also mention the disadvantages and drawbacks of relying on general models ( SWOT, PEST and ratio analysis) – you can find these using key words in a search engine. These should be referenced – ethics does not apply to secondary data usually as you are using not collecting it from people yourself
