I’m going to attempt last two exams in Dec 2011. Remaining options: P4, P5 or P7, what are more easy to pass? I’m rather about “technical” exams than essay. Please give your advice.

    Why not P6?…..
    O.K.
    1. P7 is a must if you work in auditing or plan to work in auditing…..easier than P4
    2. P5 is the easiest of the lot
    3. P4 is a killer, unless you did a degree in economics, finance or mathematics and even then it can still be a killer.

    Take you pick 😀

Thank you for your comment, I’m not an auditor, so I’m a little bit worry about P7 (F8 was a pain) and I like mathematical stuff :). Will take P5 and read sillabus for P4 an P7 one more time.

I will attempt P7 this December even though I’m not planning to be an auditor. Having studied a bit for P7, I found that P7 is much less annoying than F8. It seems to me that P2 & P3 are very helpful for P7. In a past exam of P7 there was even NPV calculation which is in F9’s syllabus.

A friend of mine, who’s a chief accountant, advised me to take P7. Even if you don’t plan to work in audit field, you might need to deal with auditors if you work in accounting field. It can only help you to do your job better if you understand the viewpoint of the auditors.

    Good luck!
