March 16, 2016 at 12:01 pm #306648Dear Saquibsher, best way is to read through the text book and get a general idea of all topics. But don’t spend too much time on the text book as you have only 2 months to prepare for June 2016.
Hence, skim through the text book and then go straight to the revision questions. If you have doubt, search in the text book where the syllabus is covered and see how you can answer the related question. This way, you learn how to solve the questions themselves.
Good luck!!
March 16, 2016 at 5:54 pm #306698There are no hard learn rules which you learn and apply on different questions.
F8 is a judgmental paper just like profession itself so get familiar with the concepts and framework by reading textbook and how procedures are applied (don’t learn the procedures, understand them).
Do past papers after textbook!
March 17, 2016 at 6:36 am #306746thanx for you reply… which book will be best to read KAPLAN or BPP ?
March 17, 2016 at 10:19 am #306771It is practical paper without calculations, it relies on techniques. You have to know the techniques and practising a lot planning and writting your answers. Very important parts are planning, controls assessment, substantial tests.. Instead of reading Kaplan or BPP study text better go for Open tuition study notes, if don`t understand any part there then check how is explained in the study text of BPP/Kaplan. And practise, practise writting answers.
