    Hi Mike,

I need your suggestions. I took F7 in December 17 session and hope to pass. Now F4, F5 and F8 are remaining in F series. Which one should I opt for March 18 session?

    Thanks in anticipation.

F4 you can attempt any time and you’re not restricted to the 3 month cycle – clearly you will need to arrange your sitting with a centre that offers CBEs

If that’s not available, I suggest that you spend the time between now and March with an F4 revision kit and, having read and re-read the course notes and watched the video lectures, you start in to answering those mcqs and mtqs from a revision kit

And complete those questions not once, not twice but three times (at least). Hint: write your attempts on a separate sheet of paper so that your subsequent efforts are not influenced by your earlier attempts

Meanwhile … how do you fancy a wordy subject having just (hopefully) succeeded in passing F7 numbers subject? You’ll have to take F8 sometime so that could be a reasonable choice

However, the first P level paper that you could face would either be Strategic Business Leader (a combination of the best parts of P1 and P3 … so all words) or Advanced Financial Reporting (around 40% numbers with the 60% words written about number problems / situations)

What’s going to lead better into those P level papers? Probably F8

So think about F4 at a time to suit you, F5 in March, F8 whenever you get there and probably Strategic Business Leader 3 months after that

But, of course, it all depends upon you, your personal circumstances, your motivation, other demands on your time, your affinity for numbers possibly exceeding your liking for words …. lots of factors that I cannot possibly know

    Hope that helps!
