Hello sir,
(please bare with my english)I have decided to head forward to studying paper F8, will be starting from today.
I currently have a BPP revision kit and a study text which applied for exams till June 2017
My goal is to sit for exam on December 4th. I have 90 days left to study for the exam.
Now to the question :Is it advisable to study with the older version that i have with me as of now, or is it absolutely necessary to buy new version of the textbook and revision kit? (Please elaborate as to why or why not a new version would be needed)
When that question is answered here is another one.
Is it advisable to study the entire F8 syllabus only from your lectures and lecture notes and answered the june 2017 revision kit that i have rite now?
(If done so, how much marks do you think one can score in the exams?)Thank you.

It is possible to study just using our notes and lectures and the revision kit. Question practiCe is very important as most of the marks in the exam are for applying knowledge to question scenarios.
Rather than reading the text from beginning to end, I suggest you dip into it for additional detail if you think our material or the answer to a question requires more information and detail.
September 8, 2017 at 6:23 pm #406830As suggested ill go through only your lectures and its appropriate notes and apply the knowledge to solve as many revision kit questions as possible.
Will keep your last point in mind through out the studies.
Thank you very much for your time, patience and response sir.
Have a wonderful day.September 8, 2017 at 8:05 pm #406852Thanks.
