Sorry to bother you all with my inner thinkings, but how many exams do you think I should sit this December? I sat 3 last sitting and passed all three so I know it can be done. My only worry is that the study period at my University for the last sitting was a bit longer than what is propsosed for this semester ( 1 month more I’d guesstimate).

This semester starts on 17 Sept and ends 7 Dec. Do you think I should? I will be sitting f4, f5 and f9 and I work full time. Personally I’m all for it as I will be part qualified once I pass these but would like other viewpoints from others like me (or not!).

    Thanks all!

Hi, i was exempted from taking F1 to F3, so I begin acca by taking F4, F5 and F9 and i managed to pass it all at the first attempt. The only difference from you is that I am a full time student, thus having more time to revise.

My advice would be to take 1 theory based paper ie. F4 and either F5 or F9 which is mainly on calculations. I would be inclined to believe a balance between theory and calculation paper will be a better option.

Perhaps you can look at the exam dates, and decide if you would have enough time to plan and study for all your papers before your exams 🙂

Hi Chill, U have to be committed to ACCA papers something I have released. I advice u to do One paper and the same time Join your September classes at University. Its so hurting to file a papers either for ACCA qualifications or University exams. U have to pan accordingly, doing two papers this time will occupy you a lot meaning u’ll not balance both ACCA & University.

Thanks Debbie & Taytarik. Unfortunately I forgot I posted this thread and already paid for the 3 exams. Appreciate your opinions but have decided on 3. Im going to stop everything, no going out, no boxing etc and just focus on passing 3!

I think I was a bit unclear as what ‘Uni’ was. I’m referring to where I study for ACCA, i.e my old Uni.

I’ve already taken 2 weeks off work for revision and am familiar with some concepts for f4 and f5 from Uni so wish me well!
