    Hey guys do i need to consider the Quarterly results or the year end reports for topic 8?
    the company i have chosen publishes its results on the last saturday of september..so that’d mean using 2011-2013 FSs…however i was confused whether to include quarterly results as well or not?

    @hassanhere Please use the quick search facility to find our posts on this as I know we have covered this subject before (it is probably on the Financial Statements and Quick Clarification: financial year results forums – both on page 2).

    If you have further questions please search first rather than open a new Forum topic as I am trying to keep our forums tidy and reduce the number of forums we have open

    @hassanhere
    It is safer and advice you use full year FS as against quarterly results.
    It is also advice you use audited FS…which are more reliable.
    Quarterly results are subject to manipulations so don’t bother using them especially if they are for the focus company.
    You may..on last resort use them for comparator company
