Its my Last paper and have given my 4th attempt on sep17 exams but still fails at 40 but previously around 43 marks on average.
in Sep 17 Exams i have already read almost 8 to 10 articles, done as my as past papers as i can around year 2012 to june16 and have read all the answers from bpp kit.
My whole exam of P7 was fair, I managed to attempt around 90% of the paper in each attempt, every time there is nothing in the exam i don’t understand
i started the exam with section A and continues
At this time what should i do to make it pass
and still dont know where to start as when ever i open my notes, it feels like i have written them.
i have struggled with my previous theory papers but passed f8 with 1st attempt.
Needs your help as i have seen many of the struggling students make it pass after your advice.
November 14, 2017 at 7:15 am #415657my next attempt is Dec 17
and should i change my exam kit to Kaplan as i read it somewhere, it is written in easy wordings then Bpp
and already Have Given two mocks in sep 17 in the Exam conditions and fairly attempted and answered.
November 14, 2017 at 7:25 am #415660Less than 3 weeks to go to your next attempt … and now you write to me!
What’s been happening over the past 4 weeks??
Never mind – we can only work with the cards that life has dealt to us
You should be totally familiar with the material by now – it sounds like you are anyway
So it’s a matter of examination technique that’s letting you down
One big trouble with students that feel that they have answered all (or even just 90%) of the exam questions is that they have written an answer to a question that wasn’t asked
For the next week I want you to re-read a revision kit and pay great attention to the verbs that are used in the question requirements so that, as you’re reading, you can see how the printed solution has specifically addressed that verb in the requirement
Note the way that similar thoughts are grouped together
Note the difference between “procedures” and “evidence”
Pay no attention to the length of the answers – NO student is ever going to be able to achieve that sort of length in an exam
Pay no attention to technical references (“ISA600 states that ……” – there are NO marks for that bit of knowledge)
At this stage do NOT attempt questions on your own – just read … question, then answer, question, then answer, quest ….
And if you can read the entire revision kit within 8 days, brilliant. Now start and do it again
And then, on November 22, post again for the next bit of advice for your preparation for the December 2017 P7 examination
OK?
