All that I can suggest is that you watch all of our lectures (and ask in this forum about anything you are not clear about) and that you have a Revision Kit and practice every question in the kit.

I had this one question in the exam
    Q) which of the following is a cost reduction suggestions
    • outsourcing the aircraft seating
    • buying effective machinery
    What is the answer ?
??They gave no further information about that outsourcing maybe our internal manufacturing can make it more cheaper and buying the effective machinery will increase cost initially then will reduce it in the long term so what is the right answer

    • which of the following is true about information
    ° accurate
    °timely
    °complete
    ° low cost
~ what if the information we are getting is of high cost but the advantage is even higher

I cannot help you with the first question without seeing the whole question rather than just part of it.

With regard to your second question, I think that the question was probably asking for the features of good information. In which case it is the first three (as is explained in my free lectures).
Whether or not the cost is worthwhile is a different issue. There is not much point in paying anything for ‘bad’ information.

As again is explained in my lectures, work-in-progress in process costing is no longer examinable.

And sir I asked the AI if low cost is a feature of good information and the AI said yes information should be cost efficient (low cost)

I will check the AI and correct it is necessary.

However a low cost does not make the information ‘good’. Obviously we want low cost, but again that does not make it good information.

Sir I had this another question
    Q) actual sales 200000
    Sales price variance 400 adv
    Sales volume variance 200 fav
    Fixed OH expenditure 100 adv
    Budgeted production OH 60000
Actual sales would have been ?
~The question is not exactly the same cuz I don’t remember it word by word but it was something like this actual sales with three variances one fav two adv and budgeted OH and were asking for budgeted sales

I am sorry but you cannot expect me to give you answers for questions in the exam where you are not sure of the wording yourself 🙂
