Just completed my last paper and i am now wondering whether i should pursue the cfa certification. The number of roles that a cfa holder can fit is quite limited and given that one need to acquire 3 years worth of work experience before acquiring the charter is bothering me. Even if one passes all the exams, how can one acquire the relevant working experience if one cant even land a relevant job recognised by the cfa since I heard many investment firms prefer people with solid maths background and computer programming skills. Should i pursue a maths degree before attempting the cfa? any advice on the matter?
