Forums › Other Accountancy Qualifications Forums › My plan for study. Suggestions!
Hey, I am a recent graduate from a non-finance degree which I have a 2:2 in. I also have recently had a daughter so I’ve had to get an immediate job in a call centre so I can provide the best I can and it’s not an ideal situation. Accountancy is something that has always interested me and feel like it is the career I want to pursue!
My question is that I have no experience so I think I need a plan to enter in this career. I was thinking to do AAT level 2 so I can try and get an entry level job but then skipping the rest and training for ACCA straight away as I qualify to do it.
Just wondering what are your thoughts on this plan?
Good on you. Sounds like a plan to me, however ACCA is quite full on and demanding technically. It may be best going through the motions i.e. AAT L2 – L4 and then take the fast track rout to ACCA. Interested to hear how you’ve got on since your post. All the best
