Hello sir,
Is the MURGC paragraph only used when the opinion is unmodified or can it be also included if the other opinions are issued ?
WELCOME to my AAA forum!
The ONLY use of a MURGC paragraph is to draw attention to the ADEQUATE DISCLOSURE of events or conditions that have been identified when the auditor concludes that a material uncertainty exists. The audit opinion is not modified in respect of THIS matter. (It could be modified in respect of some unrelated matter.)
If disclosure is NOT adequate there can be NO MURGC, the opinion must be QUALIFIED and this will be explained in the Basis for Qualified Opinion paragraph.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any follow-up questions!
Well noted , Thank you Sir!
You are very welcome!
