Hi, based on the answer given, the actual sales unit in std mix for Product A and B are 16,020 and 10,680 respectively. May I know how to get the units?

    Thanks you.

    The actual total sales are 14,200 + 12,500 = 26,700.

    The total sales that were budgeted were 15840 + 10560 = 26,400.

Therefore, if the actual sales had been in standard mix, the sales of A would have been 15840/26400 x 26700 = 16,020, and similarly, the sales of B would have been 10560/26400 x 26700 = 10,680.

I do suggest that you watch my free lectures on sales mix variances. The lectures are a complete free course for Paper F5 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
