Practice Questions Pg 227 (OT)
Q14 Grace
Can someone let me know where the 3 figures
£128360
£87365
£75775
came from on the answer page 247
I thought we used the profit figures from the question.
is this a typo?
I got my capital allowance figures correct, but picked up the profit from the question.
Many thanks
Thanks anniebabe yes very clearly a typo as the question has not been updated for the correct adjusted trading profit figures that appear in the answer. You are correct that the capital allowances should simply be deducted from the given adjusted profit figures and the results then used in determining the assessments for the relevant tax years. We will put on errata sheet – again many thanks for bringing to our attention.
thanks for answering – was thinking i had missed something.
