Money laundering involves a number of phases in the overall process. Which two of the following are not recognised as phases in the money laundering process?
1. placement 2. rectification 3. distribution 4. integration
A. 4 and 1 B. 2 and 3 C. 3 and 4 D. 1 and 2
My answer was B. 2 and 3 but in opentuition correct answer is A. 4 and 1
According to the book the money laundering process usually involves three phases:
Placement, Layering and Integration.
In question which two are not recognised as phases of money laundering process, so answer must be B. 2 and 3 ie rectification and distribution
If I’m wrong please correct me.
Hi, no Christina, if you have correctly written the question and you haven’t accidentally introduced the negative, then you are correct – rectification and distribution are not part of the process of money laundering
Sorry for that error 🙁
I haven’t made any mistake regarding the question. I’m 100% sure. Thank you
CAN’T we attach a picture in the post???????
I’ve already notified Admin to get the answer amended and thank you for pointing out my mistake
