Hello Sir,
I have just started chapter 9. You told at the start of the lecture that the components of Rational model i.e Stakeholder appraisal is judged by Mendelow matrix, External by PESTEL and 5 forces model and so on.
So I need to know that is Rational model separate from these other supporting models or whole of P3 is based upon 1 model of Rationality and these sub-models are applied on scenario by scenario basis?

The rational model is the overall model on which strategic planning is based.
The other models feed into that. For example:
PESTEL gives information about external factors
BCG helps to analyse products (internal)
Mendelow analyses stakeholders
Etc.
