    Hello!

Referring to the previous thread “models”, I had to post this thread again (as I am not able to reply under the previous thread).

Anyways, my question is: are the models the ones which were invented by the theorists like JSW, Porter, etc?

Or do they tend to show some sub-topics like strategic drift, human resources, etc?

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

Some models, have their author’s names like Porter’s 5 Forces. However something like PESTEL or the ‘M words’ are counted as models even though little more than lists.

The term ‘Framework’ cannbe used instead of ‘Model’ ie,it helps you to organise the information and your thoughts and to move the question forward.
