Can’t Thanasis pay G damages i.e the contract price which was $3800, instead of the print?
No … and besides, what would be the point? That would then require G to try to buy another Anderson print – why should G have all that trouble. It’s Thanasis that has broken the contract so it’s Thanasis that has to go to the trouble and expense of trying to find a replacement
