“You can attempt the test as many times as you like – the questions are drawn at random from a bank of questions and so each test will be different (although obviously sometimes some questions will be repeated).”

Thanasis own an art gallery called Kappis art. On monday he placed a notice in window of his gallery that said 2 copies of a very rare Anderson print $4000 each .
C and G were keep to acquire the prints but thought that price was high. They each offered Thanasis $3500 but he refuses to sell the prints at that price although he does say that he will accept $3800. He also says in order to give them time to think he will leave the offer open until mid day the following monday if they each will pay $100 immedaitely.
Both C and G agreed and hand over $100 to Thanasis. On saturday of same week were called away to athens on business but before they left they each mailed a letter saying that they would buy a print at the price of $3800. G’s letter arrived at 09.30 on monday morning but C’s letter was delayed and didn’t arrive until tuesday. As it happened , thanasis already sold both prints during the weekend.
Thanasis can be required to to purchase a replacement Anderson print to satisfy G’s claim. Is this statement true or false?

1)Here why damages will not be awarded and instead replacement Anderson print will be awarded?
2) If G would be given a replacement Anderson print, so is this a “specific performance”?
