    Hello Sir,
Can you please tell like if one question of 2 marks has 2 things asked in it and one of it is correct and other one is wrong.. is that mean we wont be credited any marks?
Also I was doing one mock exam in which I got 18,366.3 units and the question asked to round it off to the nearest unit and I mistakenly did 18,367 units so when the answer script came I was not awarded with any marks on it? Is it because its computerized will that be the case in live exam as well?

Thank you John in advance for clearing the above doubt!

In Sections A and B, you either get 2 marks or you get zero (there are no ‘half marks’), and because those sections are marked by computer nobody will look at any workings.

So I am afraid that in the example you give you would get zero for that question because it specifically asked for the answer to be rounded to the nearest unit.

oh my goodness.. that was my biggest concern.
And its so unfair , In section – B there are for example TPAR ratios to be calculated for 2-3 product if by any chance 1 is wrong we wont be credited for the other one as well..
    This sounds unfair..
Can I write somewhere about this ?

If all three ratios were to be required in the same 2 mark question, then yes – you need all three to be correct to get the 2 marks. If you get one of them wrong then you get 0 marks.

You can obviously write to the ACCA about it, but there is no point in doing so. This has always been the rule for the objective test questions for all ACCA exams since long before computer exams were introduced.
