Hi ,
I gave my ATX paper today. Just before the exam, my grandfather passed away and i coudn’t back out from the exams and also due to office commitments.
Can i apply for mitigating circumstances?
I am confused. My mind isnt working right. Please help
Best regards,
I am very sorry to hear of your upset. Yes you can indeed apply for mitigating circumstances. See here for details https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/exam-results/mitigating-circumstances.html
Thanks Kim. Does it actually help with the marking and pass?
It doesn’t change anything for initial marking. See here https://opentuition.com/topic/mitigating-circumstances-2
