Hi sir,

If Other information for ex. Chairman statement has been misstated. And mgt refuse to make a change

Should the auditor modify the report? And issue a qualify opinion?

Please think on the question you have asked. If there is no misstatement in the financial statements on what grounds can you possibly qualify the opinion which is on the financial statements?
Now read on page 111 of the notes the section “Other matters”.
