Dear tutor,
Please let me know when the requirement asks something like this-
Importance of the mission, value of a mission statement or whether the company’s activities contradict with their mission and…no mission statement is given in the scenario, should I make a mission statement for the company (will that help to gain extra mark)?You can answer the first two as theoretical questions without being given a mission. For the third I don’t see how you would know if the activities contradict the mission. In theory they shouldn’t.
Inventing a mission might help you explain things better, but is not absolutely necessary.
