Hi on chapter 16 example 3, is it right that as there are seperate outflows in different years that we can not use the MIRR formula that is given on the formula sheet for P4 exams?

As i get an answer of 12.7% by using the forula but the correct anwser at the back of the notes if 9%.

I’m not sure because I never use that formula for P5. However, I had always thought that the two methods would give the same answer. Perhaps try the P4 tutor.
