I have said endlessly that I can find nowhere to confirm that the minimum number of members in a public company is anything less than 2
I have now found that authority that tells me that the correct answer is ONE – it needs to be registered as a “single-member company” but it IS now possible to have a public company with just one member
I apologise to all those that have asked me and I have to date responded that the minimum was (wrongly) stated as two
