September 21, 2010 at 5:40 pm #68412When learning F7. I find that it most useful to do as much exercises as possible.
Write a short summary for yourself when you have finished the IAS.
But really.. this is not a memorising exam like F8. So… Do as many questions on the exam kit many times and repeated over and over again. Practice makes perfect with F7.

August 1, 2015 at 5:42 pm #264451Jayemmanuel, did you see that the most recent contribution to this thread was 5 years ago? These people are already qualified and long gone. (And if they’re not, then clearly their mind maps didn’t work!)

April 13, 2016 at 9:53 am #309991My fellow Accounting Students/Examinees. Im sorry for again practicing necromancy with this thread. However, I have a serious point to make! I together with my girlfriend passed the very difficult Board Examination for Certified Public Accountants here in the Philippines. During the review, I searched and searched for free IFRS Mind maps that someone else might have done and uploaded on the internet but to no avail. However, who could have known that such failure to find mind maps would be the reason as to how I have passed the Board Exams! How did I do it? I AND MY GIRLFRIEND MADE OUR OWN MIND MAPS! Seriously guys if you make your own mind maps, you will understand every deepest detail about every account in IFRS. Why? Because to make such mind maps, you will be forced to squeeze your brains out and analyze those accounts as well as its relation to other accounts and more importantly their relevance to accounting itself! Plus, whenever you overload with information, you can always go back to your own mind maps and refresh your knowledge about that in seconds! (Like a decepticon downloading data!) I can say no more. My friends, If you make your own mind maps, studying will be very satisfying! Good luck to all! I myself hate those people who memorize as much questions (and answers to those questions) as they can in hopes that in the exams, they might encounter those same questions and answer them correctly. For the people who does that, I repeat what Gandalf said to the Balrog of Morgoth: “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!”
