    Hello,
Fear this may have been asked before , but after hours of looking online and at the calculator manual I can’t seem to solve how to do this formula on my calculator, any help would be hugely appreciated

    E.g. Spread = 3 ( 3/4x575x400,000,000)/0.0003) 1/3

Firstly when I input the bracket calculations I get the answer 5.75×10^14??

Every answer seems to be displayed in this format?

What ever i seem to do I never get near the answer of 249466

I can not for the life of me get this to go to a decimal. Or in fact near this number. I have tried resetting etc, the s-d button, and put the calculator in normal mode etc but nothing works. If someone could please type how they would put this into a calculator so I could see where I am going wrong I would greatly appreciate it. Or better yet advise a calculator that this just seems to work on!

    Thank you

kelbel8888: It seems that you are multiplying by 1/3 at the end of the brackets.

In fact it is to the power of 1/3 (which is the same as taking the third root of what it in the brackets).

Have you watched my free lectures on this? The lectures are a complete free course for Paper FM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
