    (Bid rate + Ask rate)/2
    Example 10 July mid-spot = (1.505 + 1.515)/2 = 1.51

The mid-spot rate is used in rough estimate only. In P4, the examiner usually challenges you to choose between bid and ask rates correctly. You must rain yourself to spot a correct rate quickly. Many students lose their previous time to struggle among numbers of rates in examination. Assuming that there are 5 pairs of rates in the question. If you just need to use 1 minute to think on each rates, you already waste 10 minutes there.
