    Hi John,

From the question MIC Co (12/13)-222 BPP revision kit question I miss a bit of the answer that I don’t fully understand why the “labour cost per month” is considering the incremental time in the month Times $12? I do understand the column incremental time however if f.e. in august it will be produce only one batch why the average time of 176 is not multiplied by the labour cost per hour? Thanks for giving me some light

The 176 is the average time per batch. Given that the first batch took 200 hours, it means that the second batch must take only 152 hours in order for the average to be 176
    ( (200 + 152) / 2 = 176.

I do suggest you watch my free lectures on learning curves where the doubling rule is explained in detail, with examples.

The lectures are a complete free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.

hello, Could you please explain why the answer given in the book is using learning rate of 88% for November when It says Learning rate was observed for July – October.

The answer is not using a learning rate of 88% for November.

There is no learning in November and therefore the time taken for each of the 8 batches made in November is the same as the last batch made in October (which is the 8th batch made, given that they had made 8 batches in total by the end of October).

I do suggest that you watch my free lectures on learning curves. The lectures are a complete free course for Paper PM and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
