Hi, I have just attempted a consolidation question on foreign exchange, and although all my logic And wording is correct I did not get the correct answers. How many marks would you lose by not getting the correct figures? This was a 7 marker on goodwill.

The answer does not have to be completely correct mathematically – most of the marks are for your explanation – so I would mentally assume that 1 error would lose about 0.5 marks.
In the real exam the calculation of goodwill would be worth 2 or possibly 3 marks at most.
