    Dear Sir

    i am appearing in P4 and completely depend on Opentuition.
    i am struck in Example 4 of Chapter 16.
    where does the below figure come from……?

    Year 1: 20 + 8 + (10 x 0.7) = 35
    (the 10 x 0.7 is the after-tax synergy benefit)

    Similarly for the other years.

    (I hope that in addition to using OpenTuition you have bought a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers 🙂 )

    You will be better buying a Revision Kit because they contain more questions (and the more practice the better) and they only contain past questions that are still relevant (there have been changes to the syllabus over the years and not all past questions remain relevant).
