What is the preferable measurement base of debt equity ratio…in % or the other one….are we supposed to call the other one in times..means we would be calculating debt equity in times if not in %?????

It is same thing even if you put in number of times or in percentages (to change number of times in to the percentage you just have to multiply it with 100). Both of them are correct.
