Good day,
I need your assistance as I am revising and I want an idea as to what the examiner needs when he asks different questions.
If the examiner asks to evaluate, discuss, analyse, explain, assess. Would you be able to give me an idea?
Explain and describe: more or less the same. Explain adequately as though to a non-expert.
Discuss: talk about – often will include pros and cons and different approaches.
Analyse: perform an analysis on the data to provide an interpretation of what’s happening.
Evaluate: assess the pros and cons and the effects.
Thanks!!!
