Hi
Can you please recommend some core and important topics for theory parts that tend to come up in the MCQ’s.
I know everything is important but can you please recommend some chapters or topics from the OT notes that I need to be on top of.
Its my 3rd attempt in Sept 2017 (previously both attempts stuck at 47).
I feel I am struggling with MCQ’s specially the confusing theory bits.
Thank you.
I am sorry but I cannot recommend for exactly the reason you write yourself – that everything is examined (and calculations are only ever 50% of the exam – the rest are ‘theory’ questions).
Also, there is no point in using the lecture notes on their own because they are only lecture notes. It is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes and this is especially important for the written parts. If you have not watched them then I do suggest that you watch all of the lectures, in order.
Hi
I think I am getting more comfortable with the mcqs now. Tried out mcqs from all previous
exam papers along with opentuition lectures.
I have observed the style of the exam there are always a lot of questions on Financial systems(money market, capital market, Macroeconomic policies) and Risk Management(Interest rate risk and forex).
I just realised that I was loosing easy marks in these topics as they require an extra bit of attention and understanding.
I hope will be better off this time and hopefully pass.
Thank you so much for your help.
You are welcome 🙂
