Please help on mcq 119. i cant get the answer in the boolket. Please explain.
Actual sales at std profit = (2,000 x 4) + (8,000 x 6) = 56,000
Total sales were 10,000. If they had been sold in the correct mix then the std profit would have been:
(3/9 x 10,000 x 4) + (6/9 x 10,000 x 6) = 53,333
So the mix variance is 56,000 – 53,333 = 2.667
