Hi,

I want to check if my understanding is correct:

Weak form – reflects past information
Semi strong – reflects past and public information
Strong form – reflects past, public and private information

I was doing the MCQ questions on the opentution website:

The efficiency market hypothesis regards the level of efficiency where share prices reflect all information that is publicly available as which of the following?

I thought the answer would have been semi strong form because it reflects public information. However the answer is weak form.

Can you please clarify why this is weak form?
