HI,
I would like to know that is it possible for us to write the answer on ‘matters to consider’ question by starting with words like ‘whether’ and/or ‘will’? as contrast to the suggested answers. And any techniques on how to trigger answer for the question asked? Cause my techniques in answering is by asking ‘whether or will’ seems vary from the given answer.
Thanks.
May 17, 2013 at 2:53 pm #125810I have read past comments from the examiner that
suggest she doesn’t like students just asking questions(will & whether).
But I guess it depends on the quality of the answer.
This question is wide in scope and I normally use MARR to get a start.

thanks tylerk.
May 20, 2013 at 11:22 am #126215I think the examiner is suggesting that an answer would be better if it read “The auditor should consider whether ….” and “The auditor must consider if the suggested outcome is likely to occur ….” and, instead of “Will the anticipated event actually take place…” a better answer would be “The auditor needs to consider the likelihood of the anticipated event actually occurring”
Hope that helps
