There was a question in June 2013 that
Explain the concepts of materiality and performance materiality in accordance with ISA 320 Materiality in Planning and Performing an Audit. (5 marks)
In examiners answer there was definition of materiality mentioned for 1 mark, the definition of materiality was mentioned in exact wording of ISA 320.
I want to ask that if instead of ISA wordings, if I write the definition of materiality in my own words then would examiner award 1 mark for it or not?
Own words are fine.
