Hi, I want to ask you which formula is being used in current exams for “material price planning variance”:
(Std price-Revised price)*Revised quantity
Or
(Std price-Revised price)*Actual quantity
Which one of them does the current examiner prefer?The examiner accepts both and gives full marks for either.
She prefers the second, as I explain in my free lectures.
